Dr Michael Boediger, General Site Manager of the Bayer Integrated Site Shanghai, and Mr Li Jun, General Manager of the Shanghai ChlorAlkali Company, at a signing ceremony for the supply of Chlorine, a key raw material for the production of Polycarbonate used in a broad range of applications in the automotive, electrical / electronic, construction and sports and leisure industries. At the Bayer Integrated Site Shanghai, a 100 000 tonne/year facility for the production of polycarbonate will be completed later this year. This facility will be doubled to 200 000 tonne/year as early as in 2007.
