The machine is equipped with a divisible fluid tight vertical extruder
housing with double, co- or (optionally) counter-rotating detachable
extruder screws with an integrated adjustable driving gear. The way of
changing between co- or counter* rotating is by gear shift. The powder
metallurgical (easy cleanable) housing (hardness: 64 Rockwell cone)
has been specially heat-treated and coated (tungsten-nitrite, hardness:
2000 Vickers) to minimize wear. The screws (hardness: 56 Rockwell
cone) and surface coated (hardness: 70 Rockwell cone). Chemical
resistant pH 0 to 14 up to 400°C. The compounder is equipped with a
Nitrogen or Argon purge, this port can also be used as a liquid filling
port.

Digital RPM adjustment with torque measurement: Continuously
digitally variable (from 0 to 250 rpm) by means of a DC drive. RPM-
and torque values are directly displayed on the touch screen. The
drive-torque is directly derived from the required drive power.

& The machine includes a force-sensing cell that measures the axial
force. The machine is protected against overload of axial force,
maximum force is 8.000N. (optionally 9.500N). Via this cell the
machine can maintain a certain pre-defined vertical force by
controlling r.p.m., which allows accurate control throughput
(necessary for film and fiber applications, which ensures no need of an
additional spin pump).

Six adjustable heating zones, with an adjustable temperature range.
Maximum operating temperature 350°C (Optionally 400°C).
Temperature measurement in the melt is included in the standard
machine. Heating time from 20°C to 240°C is 20 minutes. Cooling
time from 240°C to 80°C is 10 minutes.

Standard water-cooling unit allows rapid cooling between
experiments. With cooling unit, cooling from 240°C to 80°C takes 10
minutes. Cooling water consumption is 5 l/min at 20°C inlet
temperature.

Processing cycle: 混合处理循The processing cycle simplifies repeating standard experiments and the
环storage of several standard-recipes. Processing-parameters such as
RPM, temperatures, processing time can be programmed or retrieved
from standard cycles. The cycle runs automatically.

Cleaning cycle: 清洁循环Cleaning takes place in circulating mode. In the cleaning cycle RPM
and maximum axial force can be set as set-points. The program runs
automatically while cooling, as the maximum axial force is reached the
machine will stop.
